Receiving Operator 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 4937 Morrison Rd, Richburg, SC 29729 Receiving Operator Feed Mill Job Summary This position is responsible for receiving, administration and the quality control of the incoming grain and other product on a daily basis. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) non-exempt position. Reporting Relationships This position reports directly to the Assistant Mill Manager. There are no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Unloading Sampling product in all trucks and railcars for quality. Sampling all fat and other liquids before unlocking valves. Sampling grain train at startup. Sampling and labeling all bags and bottles. Tickets – Check for accuracy and competition of ticket information; sign. Reporting – Track List, Track release List, mill inventory. Cleaning of receiving area, Office, under silos, receiving pit, liquid truck unloading area, rail fat unloading area, fat strainer screens, as well as any other areas assigned by supervisor. Other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Good computer skills Good math skills and handwriting. Forklift experience preferred but not necessary. Physical Abilities Position involves the following items daily medium to heavy walking, climbing stairs and ladders, standing, stooping, shoveling and sweeping, carrying and lifting of heavy-weight materials (between 50 and 100 pounds). Requires visual sharpness to read numbers, letters, and images; depth perception; hand and finger dexterity to use a keyboard at an advanced rate, and hand-eye coordination. Requires speaking and hearing ability sufficient to hear over phone and carry on routine conversations in a loud environment. Work Environment Heights, dusty, confined space, and working outdoors.
