• 3:00pm Position Summary The CNC Wire Machine Set-Up Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment inside of the building is functioning properly.

CNC Wire Machine Set-Up Tech:

Reads and interprets blueprints, job routers, sketches, and related technical data to determine setup procedures, tooling, control settings, and manufacturing sequences. Prepares and forms tolls needed for machine operations, in addition to securing the tooling fixtures of the machine. Verifies that setup meets acceptable quality standards or other specifications. Loads or develops appropriate program in machine controller, Completes set-up sheets for new parts. Starts machine and monitors machine operation, periodically gauges or measures parts for conformance to specifications. Monitors operation of machine and verifies conformance of parts to specifications. Enters commands or manually adjusts machine controls to correct out of tolerance sequences. Instructs machine operator on production parameters required for the part being produced. Removes, replaces, and labels containers of finished parts when specified number have been produced. Performs routine machine maintenance. CNC Machinist Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma/GED 2+ years of related experience preferred. Strong understanding of CNC machining operations and basic functions. Proficient in reading and troubleshooting CNC programs, especially for complex prototypes.
