The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machinery and tools, with a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role is essential in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and other fabrication equipment, to produce high-quality components. Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, to interpret technical drawings and specifications for machining tasks. Measure and inspect finished products using precision tools like micrometers and calipers to ensure adherence to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Follow all company policies and procedures related to quality control and safety standards. Experience Previous experience in a factory setting or as a machine operator is preferred. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, is an asset. Familiarity with machining processes and the ability to fabricate components accurately. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
