Overview:

We are seeking a professional and dedicated Packaging and Shipping Specialist to join our team. This position is based at a customer’s manufacturing facility, where you will be responsible for preserving large industrial machinery, managing export crating, and supporting various warehouse and preservation processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor to this customer-facing role within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preservation and packaging tasks to maintain and protect machinery from environmental damage. Apply preservation techniques such as cleaning, lubricating, and protective coating. Lead or assist with export crating, ensuring secure and compliant packing for transport. Collaborate with the customer to understand specific preservation and warehousing requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with all safety protocols. Accurately document work performed and communicate machinery status updates. Represent the company with professionalism in all customer interactions. Provide suggestions to improve warehouse and preservation processes.

Qualifications:

Experience with machinery preservation, export crating, or handling large equipment preferred. Forklift experience preferred. Proficient in the use of hand tools and preservation equipment. Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Committed to following safety procedures and using required PPE. Professional appearance and conduct in a customer-facing environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy machinery and equipment. Comfortable working in industrial settings with varying conditions and temperatures.

Schedule:

Full-time position (typically Monday-Friday, day shift). 8-hour shifts with flexibility depending on customer requirements.
