Overview The role of the Setup Supervisor is to follow the department guidelines as set by the Setup Manager to ensure a high level of building services for meeting room set up, stage and equipment set up and movement and safe movement and operation of office and building support. Job duties include reading diagrams, moving equipment, setting furniture per the client specs and resume requirements. Working with the event management team and ensuring the setup team is fulfilling the expectations of the client while adhering to regulations and best practices. Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to work nights and weekends. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$18.50 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until September 20, 2025. Responsibilities Maintain safe and reliable building equipment for the team. Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal oversight. Is well organized and able to prioritize workload. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to maintain a professional and positive work environment. Is reliable, consistent and efficient. Read and provide direction based on diagram software and drawings. Set up stages, chairs, tables, and other equipment as needed. Drive forklift or safety equipment needed to move furniture. Advises Manger of staffing concerns and/ staffing needs. Write end of shift reports and advise the manager of any areas of success or concern during the shift. Able to lead, direct, and supervise the work of the part time and contract set up team. Establish a routine of meetings with the team at the beginning and end of each shift to talk through project plans for each event, ensuring all set-up tasks are clearly defined, assigned, and completed on schedule. Ensure thorough inspection of work before team members leave. Maintain clear communication channels with other departments, ensuring that all relevant information regarding event setups is shared promptly and accurately. Actively address concerns or suggestions from other departments regarding the set-up process. Establish a system for monitoring the progress of set-up tasks, identifying potential roadblocks early, and taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as requested by the Set-Up Manager.
