Duties Operate saws and other cutting machinery to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and dimensions. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in cuts and assemblies. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including milling machines and stamping presses, to ensure optimal performance. Assemble components as required, ensuring all parts fit together correctly. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Engage in laser cutting and plasma cutting tasks as needed for specific projects. Work with sheet metal materials, ensuring high-quality finishes on all products. Qualifications Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with various cutting methods, including laser cutting, plasma cutting, and traditional sawing techniques. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions. Experience with stamping presses, milling machines, or welding is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
