Machine Operator 2 – 3rd Shift 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Leesville, SC Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment. Process production orders using schedules, tickets, item numbers, work order numbers, pattern numbers, color numbers and various types of ribbon products Process orders utilizing various inks, screen meshes, squeegees, plates, foils and papers while operating various printing equipment Maintain the ribbon through the various types of printing equipment and ovens; maintain ribbons with a minimum of twist or overlap in all other sections of the printing equipment and ovens Change the ribbon rolls or boxes while continuously operating various printing equipment Maintain sewing machines in good working order Inspect goods before printing and report any defects. Check print quality to standard and maintain/ monitor quality through the production run Perform all duties so as to keep waste and second quality material to a minimum Custom match inks to formulas and standards Record and document print order history records Print samples on various types of printing equipment as needed for new product Cross train on various types of printing equipment Operate machine assignments using multiple printing machines Maintain cleanliness of printing equipment and area Works safely and efficiently to all company guidelines Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of
Management Pay Range:
Min $, Max $ Required Experience High School diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions o Decimals, fractions conversions and yard to foot conversions Ability to multi-task in operation of equipment Must have attention to detail and work under minimum supervision Must have problem solving skills and have the ability to prioritize jobs in a fast-paced environment Required to have the ability to identify color differentiation and quality differentiation Ability to lift by hand (up to 30 lbs.) or by mechanical assistance PPE required, such as, eye, hand and face protection Ability to work with heated equipment Ability to work within machinery and equipment, climb steps and ladders and work within restricted spaces
