Job DutiesWorking under close supervision, sets up, adjusts, and operates avariety of machine tools which may include numericalcontrol/computerized numeric control lathes, mills, drills,computerized numerical control/numerical control and/or manualmachines. May be required to read blueprints, perform varyinglevels of shop mathematics associated with machining operations,and perform inspection procedures to verify work. QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. Skills typicallyacquired through 1-2 years related machining experience.
