Packaging Specialist/Assembly Position Available In Spartanburg, South Carolina

Packaging Specialist/Assembly 12 Hour Shifts

• 6:00 AM
• 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM
• 6:00 AM $14.

00 (plus $.25/hr for PM Shift = $14.25) This position is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of product in accordance with customer-approved specifications. This position is responsible for ensuring that all products assembled are of a high quality. This position is required to work 5 days a week on a 7 day a week schedule. Assembly (7 Day Rotating). Also will perform all duties assigned. Produce Specialty Products 1. Responsible to work safely to assemble packaging materials 2. Ensure the quality of all assembled product meets the customers expectations by performing all required quality checks according to the Quality Policy. 3. Work in the most efficient manner to meet key operational goals. 4. Fulfill work orders as assigned by the Command Lead 5. Pull work instruction up on monitor before starting kit build 6. Check all incoming stock against the SWI prior to set-up. 7. Apply signed labels and load tags to finished goods per SWIs 8. When required assist with the picking of materials for work station. 9. Assist with the wash process as required Complete All Required Paperwork 1. Accurately fill in all information of the Assembly First Checks Sheet. 2. Record all required information on Production Schedule. Note the reasons for any inefficiencies. Maintain Housekeeping Assure that the work cell, and its surrounding area, are properly cleaned at the end of each shift. Must know how to read a tape measure, knowledge of fractions is required. Must have good math skills. Must have basic computer skills. Must have good analytical skills.
