Position Summary:
The Press II Machine Operator is responsible for operating a 4-mold press machine, monitoring the molding process, and ensuring product quality meets production expectations. This role requires troubleshooting molding issues, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to all safety, quality, and production guidelines. The operator is expected to exhibit good housekeeping practices and report any issues that may impact operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 4-mold press machine combination.
Monitor the molding process through repeated inspections to ensure optimal quality and production standards are met.
Identify and report any safety concerns in the assigned work area.
Troubleshoot molding issues to maintain production efficiency.
Report any barriers that may affect safety, quality, or production.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Must Have:
High school diploma or GEDorthree to five years of related experience/training.
Completion of the Operator training program.
Ability to push/pull molds from the press safely without damaging equipment.
Capability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).Strong reasoning skills to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive hand movements.
Exposure to machine oils, lubricants, silicone, and latex.
Basic computer skills, including knowledge of keyboard, monitor, and hard drive functions.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or molding environment.
Knowledge of machine troubleshooting and process optimization.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and report findings.
