Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring multiple positions for a preferred employer, newly moved into the Blount County, TN area. Distribution Team Members will be responsible for: Conducting accurate product counts, labeling, weighing parts and boxing finished products Working to meet or exceed schedule / job standard and quality requirements Maintaining inventory accuracy by physical and electronic count Completing tasks within specified timeframe Following lean initiative and participating in continuous improvement activities Assembling various components and subcomponents Using small machines and hand tools to complete tasks Performing quality checks using hard gages, comparators, and other specialized equipment Performing each assembly process to follow a standardized process and identifying and disposing of non-conforming parts in an appropriate manner Prepping, staging, wrapping for customer orders Following all safety and EH&S requirements, while using proper PPE and maintaining a clean and safe work area 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8am-430pm. Pays $15.75/hr to start, with great benefits once hired including: medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance, 401K plan and profit sharing, 50% product discounts.
