Utility Worker 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars 1829 Clydesdale Street, Maryville, TN 37801 Macawber Engineering Inc ., a small international manufacturer with 45 years in business, is looking for a Saw Operator to be part of a team that builds custom-designed pneumatic conveying systems and other industrial equipment. We offer an interesting position, great team to work with and an attractive compensation package. Your pay is $20/hr depending on qualifications and experience. You will start with 3 weeks of PTO for the first year, increasing to 5 weeks after 10 years. The company pays 90% of your health insurance cost, matches your 401k contribution as well as rewards with an annual bonus. Work schedule 4 •10 (Mon-Thu). You will work from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to measure and cut with accuracy on certified and non-certified material Set stops or guides to specified lengths Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues Help pack and transport finished pieces Accurately complete paperwork Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate Experience operating a saw (1-3 years preferred) Forklift experience a plus Basic math skills Ability to lift to 50-70 lbs. Attention to detail
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
