Description
Responsible for maintaining high quality and production efficiency in a safe manner. Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and other departments and different levels of management. Must be able to see and hear adequately to respond to auditory and visual requests. Train Technicians in proper assembly or machining processes to insure the most efficient methods are being utilized. Insure assembly lines are properly loaded. Minimize downtime of assembly line by insuring proper set ups. Perform Quality audits and complete necessary paperwork on specific units. Complete other required paperwork. Maintains correct parts to keep assembly line performing. Informing engineering or Quality control of manufacturing problems. Counseling of disciplining employees for rule violations. Must be able to carry out directions from upper management. Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements
Ability to communicate verbal and written instructions effectively. Ability to work with others in a team environment. Ability to utilize computers/bar coding to track parts, routings, job orders, employee labor, and attendance etc. Must be able to see and hear adequately to respond to auditory and visual requests. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, squat, twist, and stand for extended periods of time.
