Purpose:
Automatics operators are required to work relatively independently. They are required to weld bonnet nuts, hose ends, and stainless balls. They must also repair and adjust Acme machine, Gildemeister machine, Hydromat machine, Buffoli machine, & CNC machine as required. This position requires using pic gages, depth gages, snap gages, length gages, micrometers and calipers. Automatics operators must also wash parts, check coolants and calibrate scales. They must complete quality checks, operate rotor and complete daily preventative maintenance. They are also required to wash and inspect parts. They are required to wear aprons, gloves and hearing protection. Automatics operator is responsible for supporting the company’s mission statement and the overall business objective.
Nature & Scope:
Automatics operators are required to follow all safety processes and procedures. They must load parts in machine, cycle machine, detect malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged tooling. They must also maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition. This position reports to Team Leader.
Dimensions:
Perform typical machine shop operations
Detect and report defective materials or equipment issues
Pay close attention to detail and meet all PQR training requirement
Complete and maintain required documentation
