Mold Setter – Mt. Pleasant, TN VENTEK Solutions LLC Mount Pleasant, TN Ventek Solutions is seeking a highly skilled & safety driven candidate for the Mold Setter position in our Mt. Pleasant, TN facility. Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, & problem solving skills while working with the Mold Set team, promoting a safe and productive work environment. Job description While reporting to the Molding Manager as the Mold Setter you will be responsible for the safety of oneself and fellow employees. Prepare and set specific molds in designated presses as directed by production schedule Perform routine maintenance on presses and molds Follow all safety procedures when prepping and setting molds and working around equipment, most importantly lock out/tag out Wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) as required to perform job duties Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times. This includes assigned areas such as: molding presses, fill gun maintenance area, mold prep area, mold storage, pallet storage and tool boxes Understand Quality system and be able to interpret data as it relates to molding process Be responsible for accurate and thorough documentation and data communication Perform other duties throughout the plant as directed by supervisor/delegate Must be able to lift 75 plus pounds Must follow all safety rules and demonstrate leadership in establishing and following Safe Work Procedure Understand and demonstrate mold installation and setup procedure Be capable of making sound decisions with regards to executing priorities and cost control (scrap and efficiency focus) Be capable of safely and properly installing and starting existing molds with established processes utilizing the 5 key process parameters Demonstrate sound troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude to conduct systematic analysis of tooling, processes, and machines to solve existing problem Fork Lift experience (beneficial but not required)
