Responsibilities Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Fabricate components using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to identify any defects or inconsistencies. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including the press brake machine and lathe. Utilize forklift equipment for material handling as needed. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in plastics extrusion or related manufacturing processes is preferred. Familiarity with blow molding techniques is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and operating machinery such as press brake machines and lathes. Knowledge of quality inspection methods and lean manufacturing practices is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
