The Machine Operator collaborates with the Architectural Millwork Builder to fabricate a wide array of millwork projects. Some of the projects we have worked on include Veneer Wall Panels, Stair Treads & Risers, Baseboard, Chair Rail, Wainscot, Wood Veneer Countertops & Cabinets, Trellises, Canopies, Pergolas, and more.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

Operates machines such as Edge Bander, CNC, boring machines, and molding equipment. Collaborates with the Millwork Builder to fabricate custom woodworking projects. Adjusts as necessary to produce finely-tuned, edge banded products. Performs quality control on first couple pcs before running large quantities. Organizes edge banded projects by job number. Collaborates with Techs to repair the machine. Perform daily glue test to ensure machine is gluing edge band properly. Conforms with state and company safety regulations. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work well with others on a team. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Ability to read shop prints in standard metric units.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work. Must be able to see details at close range. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
