OTHER TASKS

Assist with saw changes where needed on assigned saw machine centers (minimum of 1 band saw, 1 round saw machine center) Establish proper parameters for saw operation Perform minor maintenance on saw to include changing of blades and cleaning the saw Operate the saw(s) or sander Maintain band saw and pipe beveling equipment Perform basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment Assist with preventative maintenance tasks on assigned saw machine centers as related to saw performance (minimum 1 band saw, 1 grinder) Set up and tear down of the saw Relieve saw blade support and drive wheel tension Activate carriage that move log against saw blade Operate machines such as horizontal band saw, vertical saw, iron worker, punch, and shear Put hydraulic oil and cutting oil in the saw Leading and coordinating saw filing activities for the Emmett Changing saw blades and setting proper tolerance for processing equipment Remove the end scrap from saw in a safe manner Maintain all safety regulations and procedures while operating the saw Assist less experienced saw operator and other production team members Set up and operate saw selecting proper feeds and speeds Hours 7:00 am-3 :30pm –
