Purpose Statement The Robotic Palletizing Operator Associate will control all aspects of finished goods palletizing while adhering to all plant and food safety guidelines.

Schedule:

The typical schedule is 10pm to 6:30am. Monday to Friday with weekend overtime. Candidate will train on first shift for 90 days. the shift Is 6:00am to 2:30pm. Key Accountabilities and Outcomes Operate all equipment in the palletizing room, which includes the programming, troubleshooting, and documentation of all functions and equipment. Responsible for basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and other minor maintenance of all palletizing, conveying, and stretch wrapping equipment, which includes proper lubrication of equipment, proper tracking of belts, and start-up procedures. Maintain a valid material handling equipment certification. Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP, AIB, and company safety guidelines. Perform any other miscellaneous duties assigned. Will be required to work in other areas as necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Technical School graduate preferred. 3 or more years of experience in manufacturing maintenance environment with demonstrated mechanical aptitude Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal Must have the ability to train other associates in palletizing and conveying operations Must have the desire and ability to operate as a member of a Self-Directed work team Has an awareness of and the ability to follow Associate Safety guidelines Has an awareness of and the ability to follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines Understands proper equipment and conveying operating and adjusting procedures Must have the ability to work in and contribute to Production Improvement, Associate Involvement and Temporary Teams, as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical capabilities an associate must have to perform the essential functions of this position are: Moderate to high degree of physical activity Continuous standing and frequent walking Frequent stair/ladder climbing Works in fast paced environment Works in low temperature environment Works in high noise area May handle potentially hazardous equipment or material Requires frequent lifting – not to exceed 55.12 lbs (25 kilograms).

GENERAL REQUIRMENTS

Typical workweek consists of 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday Overtime is required as necessary on weekends or extended shifts Requires acceptable range of test scores for Personal Characteristics Inventory and Wonderlic Personnel Test as recommended by Wonderlic Hire Results Assessment.
