What we are looking for:

We are seeking a talented and self-motivated CNC Machine Operator to oversee computer numeric-controlled (CNC) operations for structural and aesthetic steel projects. If you’re confident working independently, skilled in creating precision parts, and passionate about working with structural steel and decorative designs, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate and demonstrate a working knowledge of beamlines, lasers, tube plasmas, water jets, press brakes, shears, rollers, and benders. Apply knowledge of GMAW and GTAW welding processes as needed for project tasks. Operate CNC machinery to produce both structural and aesthetic steel components. Confidently work independently to execute production tasks with minimal supervision. Read and interpret blueprints , product drawings, and specifications to create high-quality parts. Program and input relevant codes to specify feed rates, speeds, and tool paths. Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet engineering and client specifications. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Set up and secure parts and assemblies using proper fixtures and procedures.

Bonus Skills :

Experience working in a QA/ISO-compliant environment. Forklift operation certification or experience. Familiarity with additional fabrication processes. Knowledge of the steel industry. Working knowledge of CAD and CAM software.

Minimum Qualifications :

At least 3 years of experience as a CNC machine operator. Ability to read and interpret product prints and drawings. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet the demands of a fabrication environment.
