Atlanta, GA Description:

Experienced engineer to design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures, enhancing productivity and quality. Supports new product introduction and provides technical solutions. May work in ISO class 5/7 cleanrooms, handling production materials and chemicals.

Responsibilities:

Design/develop manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures.
Evaluate/manage production equipment.
Provide production support and process validation.
Interface with vendors.
Troubleshoot processes/equipment.
Utilize statistical tools (Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk, SPC).
Use electronic data collection systems.
Apply lean manufacturing concepts (Value Stream Mapping, 5S).
Write protocols and reports.
Generate/modify process documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Implement process improvements and resolve problems.
Support company and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills:

Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Manufacturing or related).
3-5 years relevant experience in Semiconductor, MEMS, or Medical Device manufacturing.
Experience with wet/dry etch, PVD, sputtering, wire-bonding.
Familiarity with wafer alignment, bonding, laser cutting, test equipment.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent wafer/device handling skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Solidworks, Minitab, CAD.
Experience in a matrixed business environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay range:
