Job Description
Brewton Iron Works LLC is seeking applicants for the following position:•Foundry Furnace/Melt Operator•
Job Description:
Make detailed analyses of the materials melted, make sure melting operation is performed to specifications, monitor furnaces, monitor equipment and processes to make sure they are functioning properly, mix chemicals, transfer molten metal from one area to another, add scrap metal to molten iron.
Must be able to maintain records of all materials used in the casting process and know the periodic table elements. Able to drive forklift.5+ years in the metal foundry industry is preferred but not required.
