AM What You’ll Do:

As a Process Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of our production, ensuring the highest quality parts are produced efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:
Process Monitoring:

Continuously monitor and interpret process parameters (SPC charts, DartNet, robot programs) for injection molding and vacuum forming.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve issues related to vacuum forming, adhesive spraying, injection molding processes, and associated equipment.

Documentation & Communication:

Document problem-solving results and deviations. Communicate findings with other Process Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, and Shift Supervisors.

System Management:

Maintain documentation for all process equipment and manage injection molding process controls using the DartNet system.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure maximum production of saleable parts by maintaining thorough knowledge of quality standards.

Setup Oversight:

Monitor Maintenance Technician mold change program loading and setups, and verify Operator first spot checks.

Training & Support:

Assist Production Supervisors in training associates on line operation and process controls.

Process Optimization:

Systematically check variables to balance quality and quantity, and supervise adhesive spray, vacuum forming, and injection molding for proper control.

Maintenance Coordination:

Schedule routine and preventative equipment maintenance to minimize production impact.

Continuous Improvement:

Analyze operations for improvements, recommend changes to Manufacturing Engineering, and run Design of Experiments (DOEs) and launch samples.

What We’re Looking For:

High School Graduate or equivalent, with an emphasis on mathematics, mechanical, or similar studies. 3-5 years minimum experience completing mold changes . 1-3 years minimum experience as a plastic process technician (injection molding experience is required). 3-5 years minimum experience within the automotive industry (Tier 1 experience highly preferred). Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants, which may require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces. Systematic Molding training. Master Molder 1 and 2 training are highly desirable. Apply now!
