Molding Team Operator – Shift 2 Position Available In Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut

Job Description:

Position Summary The Molding Team Operator is responsible forsetting molds, making process adjustments and operating morecomplex molding machines to produce high quality assemblies andinsert molded tubing. Follow specific procedures and recordkeepingrequirements on multiple machines. Essential Duties ℜsponsibilities Take process parameter readings; perform testingper applicable documentation. Perform audits to establish cutoffpoints for nonconforming product. Complete nonconformance and holddocumentation as required. Pull required inspection samples astotes of molded components are completed. Create trace, containerlabels and pallet sheets. Scan bar-coded labels into system. Ensurechangeover paperwork is completed with proper information. Performinitial and alternate disposition of product. Move to appropriatestaging area. Assist in the training of new Operators (OJT).Inspect multiple types of parts against specifications andcommunicate issues with machine to responsible Technician. Performother related duties as assigned or required. Knowledge & SkillsGood Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitaskthroughout the shift. Knowledge/use of computers. Adequate finemotor hand coordination required. Sound judgment for use in productdisposition. Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience Must beat least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required.
