Join us and be a maker of possible. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Press Technician to join our team at Client’s Canaan, CT facility. This role is responsible for supporting our molding operations, focusing on press repairs, maintenance, and process efficiency in a high-standards, safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Execute repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance on molding presses Assist in troubleshooting and improving injection molding processes Support molding operations and align with the goals of the Molding Business Unit Perform on-site inspections and identify root causes for equipment and process issues Follow established safety protocols and quality standards (e.g., IIRC, Client SOPs) Work closely with the Molding Process Engineer and Senior Mold Diagnostic Technician Guide and assist support staff (mold setters, technicians) on process modifications and equipment handling Use technical knowledge to communicate with vendors and service teams as needed Ensure high-quality documentation and issue tracking Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in a molding environment Molding Processing Certification (e.g., RJG Essential or Master Molder I, or equivalent training) Hands-on experience with: Mold press maintenance Hydraulic and servo-controlled systems Mold temperature controllers Material feed systems from silo to hopper Ability to work a rotating 12-hour day shift Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills Preferred Qualifications Training from a major molding press manufacturer on equipment maintenance and repair Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn complex molding technologies Why Join Client?
