Mold & Water Restoration Technician Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Mold & Water Restoration Technician BrickHouse Inspections, Inc. Miami Gardens, FL 33179 The Mold & Water Restoration Technician provides proper quality control, execution and documentation of all mitigation and remediation jobs from beginning to completion, including but not limited to: Providing restoration services for structures damaged by fire, mold, water, etc. Performing content restoration work on residential and commercial properties. Conducting water extraction, drying and cleaning floors, mold and mildew remediation, demolition and debris removal. Responding to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and company’s process. Handling any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold. Cleaning damaged properties until they can be returned to the client, this includes demo clean-up, smoke and fire damage, water mitigation, mold remediation, and deodorization of facilities. Assisting with the inventory of site contents, setup of emergency services equipment, preparing contents for storage, and lifting items into storage. Placing equipment on jobsites and monitor them. Maintaining all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be available at all times. Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.

Please Note:

This role involves consistent travel throughout Florida, with the expectation of staying out of town the majority of the time. Meals, lodging, and per diem are not provided.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Restoration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of restoration, mitigation, and/or construction practices and procedures.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not a must.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
