Job Summary:

As an Injection Molding Technician, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring injection molding machines. You’ll ensure parts are produced to spec by performing process adjustments, maintaining equipment, and conducting regular inspections—all while following strict safety and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up molds and prepare machines for production runs Monitor injection molding machines and make process adjustments as needed Troubleshoot issues related to part quality, machine performance, or material flow Handle and prepare plastic resins, including drying and contamination prevention Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards using gauges, calipers, and other tools Keep accurate records of production data and machine performance Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area Perform basic maintenance on molding machines and support equipment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in injection molding setup and operation (required) Strong understanding of plastic resins and processing conditions Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection processes Good troubleshooting and mechanical skills Ability to work independently and in a team setting High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus How to Apply Please create an account with Traba to be considered for this opportunity.
