Anvil Street North, Saint Petersburg, FL 33710 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic parts. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Assemble components as needed and perform basic machining tasks. Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively in the production process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Requirements Experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing preferred. Familiarity with plastics injection molding and blow molding processes is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality inspection practices. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques is beneficial. Proficient in using hand tools and machinery safely in a production environment. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
