Description
The Chop Gun Operator is responsible for applying chop to parts with the chop gun.
Responsibilities /Duties/Functions /Tasks
Ensure enough glass and resin have been applied to part by watching visually as you spray the glass/resin ration is even.
Roll out after the chop is complete.
Check that the mill gauge has been calibrated and verified to match temperature catalyst.
Maintain chop gun during work shift.
Make sure there is no air in part.
Must be able to follow all safety rules and hazardous material guidelines.
Must be able to always keep work area and nearby area clean.
All other duties as might be required.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in lamination a plus
Some dexterity
Ability to work with others

Physical Demands:

Rotate (Maneuver) molds for best angle and/or position to remove part (skin the part).
The ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
Bending, lifting, twisting continuously throughout the day.
Being able to stand/walk for a possible 8 plus hour workday.
