Job Description

Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Slitter Operator position at their Villa Rica II facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia. Qualified candidates should have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$21.08

  • $31.

62 per hour depending on experience Plus an additional $2.50 per hour for the night shift premium.

Schedule:

Night Shift 8:00pm

  • 8:00am on a 3/2 schedule Training will be on days for the first few months

Overtime Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must be at least 18 years old At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred

Internal Candidates:

Last performance review was rated “Performer” or higher No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past 120 days Must be in current position for at least 120 days.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare master rolls for slitting Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing Properly segregate and label all materials Ensure your own safety while operating the machine and that of those assisting with operations Communicate orally and/or in writing to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, changeovers and daily shift information Ability to troubleshoot if needed EOE F/M/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Disabled/Vet Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
