Summary/Objective:

Under the general supervision of the Sr. Processing & Applications Manager, the incumbent provides support in the key areas of, Sales Support & Machine Configuration, Mold Testing, Mold Process Support, Exhibitions & Seminars, and Process Training. The incumbent will provide excellent customer service at all times to assist Customers, Outside Sales, and Service with any and all processing troubleshooting needs.

Core Functions/Duties:

Sales Support / Machine Configuration Performs process calculations to assist in optimal machine selection and configuration. Meet with customers as needed to discuss and finalize machine specifications. Support Sales with market research (Industry/Market trends, Customer insight, strategy, etc.) Molding Tests Prepares and sets up machines, software, and molds in advance of mold trials. Performs mold trials and testing at

SDNA ATC.

Summarizes and reports test results. Molding Process Support Analysis and Optimization of molding processes and settings onsite at customers. Troubleshooting and resolution of processing issues and customer concerns. Support service with answers to processing related questions.

Exhibitions / Seminars

Prepares machine parts for installation including plumbing, electrical, main power hookup. Performs preshow preparation, run, trial and testing machines and equipment. Supports onsite set up, tear down, packaging of machines and equipment at events. Participates in events to demonstrate and promote machine features and advantages Process Training Takes planned required curriculum training through AIM Institute and achieves planned results. Shadows mechanical and software engineers to learn functionality of machines. Shadows processing team members for on-the-job training of Mold Trials & Process Optimization. Provides hands-on and verbal training in the areas of process optimization and demonstrates machine operation and controller for internal associates and onsite at customers as needed. Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education/Experience:
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in the injection molding industry

Preferred:

Four-year degree in Engineering. Completion of 2-year degree in related field. Why Join Us?
