Growth opportunities Casual work attire “`Job Overview“` Best Option Restoration of Gwinnett is seeking a skilled Water Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the restoration and cleanup of properties that have been affected by water damage, mold, fire damage, or other disasters. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. “`Responsibilities“`
- Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extracting water, drying affected areas, and removing damaged materials
- Assist in fire restoration efforts, such as cleaning up soot and smoke damage, deodorizing affected areas, and restoring property to pre-loss condition
- Conduct mold remediation procedures, including containment, removal of affected materials, and application of antimicrobial treatments
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete restoration projects
- Clean and sanitize carpets, upholstery, and other surfaces as needed
- Assist in the rebuilding process by performing basic construction tasks such as drywall installation, painting, and flooring installation “`Requirements“`
- 3•5 years experience in the restoration industry is required•Knowledge of water damage restoration and mold remediation techniques and equipment•WRT and AMRT certifications strongly preferred•Familiarity with fire restoration procedures and products•Understanding of mold remediation protocols and safety measures•Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately•Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record If you are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for restoring properties to their original condition, we encourage you to apply for this position.
