You’ll manage the setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting of molds, tools, and auxiliary equipment to enable smooth transitions between production runs, ensuring minimal downtime, maximum efficiency, and top product quality. Key Responsibilities:
Changeover Execution:

Follow procedures to complete blow molding machine changeovers, removing and installing molds, setting up the machine, and adjusting parameters.

Mold Installation and Adjustment:

Accurately install blow molds, ensuring proper alignment and securely fastening them, adjusting settings like air blow pressures and cooling channels.

Tool and Equipment Preparation:

Organize tools, equipment, and materials, verifying the condition and readiness of molds and auxiliary components.

Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

Address issues during mold installation and machine setup, including air leak issues, alignment, and temperature consistency.

Quality Assurance:

Work with quality control to confirm specifications are met, conducting visual checks and making adjustments to ensure product quality.

Documentation and Reporting:

Keep records of changeover activities, machine settings, and issues, reporting on changeover times and downtime.

Preventive Maintenance:

Work with maintenance staff to perform upkeep on blow molds and machinery, identifying potential issues to prevent breakdowns.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety guidelines and company policies, report hazards, and ensure industry compliance.

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in mold installation and adjustment, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of blow molding equipment. Team-oriented communication skills. Knowledge of quality control principles.

Preferred:

Previous experience in blow molding changeover roles. Familiarity with blow molding machinery and auxiliary equipment (e.g., cooling systems, conveyors).
