Job Summary:
The Injection Molding Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the injection molding production line. This includes supervising machine operators and technicians, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, performing setups and troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of injection molding machine operators and technicians on assigned shifts. Monitor daily production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs while meeting quality and efficiency targets. Coordinate machine startups, mold changes, and material changes as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and molds. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Conduct on-the-job training for new team members and cross-train existing employees. Perform quality checks and ensure products meet specifications and standards. Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and downtime logs. Assist with process improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for recurring issues. Communicate effectively with maintenance, quality, and other departments. •
