Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will employ calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements, contributing to high-quality output. Your core skills in machining and manufacturing will be complemented by premium skills in CNC programming and GD&T, enhancing operational efficiency. With a focus on quality control and fabrication, you will help maintain our commitment to excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manual milling machines and lathes. Machine and lathe various products according to drawing details and special job instructions. Review and understand written specifications for each job. Utilize various measuring tools to verify the accuracy of machined products. Inspect and measure machined products and documents as required. Perform other duties in the plant as requested

Experience/Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience operating mills and lathes in a job shop environment. The ability to perform setups and machine large precise parts efficiently. Ability to read and understand drawings. Must be able to utilize micrometers, calipers and scales. Detail-oriented. •Willing to train a candidate with machine operating experience, strong mechanical operating knowledge and attention to detail.•
