Full-TimeLafayette, IN Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered witha Tier 1 Supplier to SIA where they supply the interior andexterior trim parts of the Subaru vehicles including the doorpanels. Here their products are plastic molded, painted, andassembled before being sent out.

Requirements:

Education and/orExperience1-3 Year apprentice trade certificate in tool makingpreferred. 5-10 years injection mold processing experience

Computerand Technology Skills:

Possess good PC skills in Microsoft Office(Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to applyconcepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions topractical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Must have common senseunderstanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving severalconcrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilites:

Qualify new molds using scientific injection molding techniques androot cause analysis. Monitor activity and provide instruction,train and assist mold set-up technicians on a daily basis or asrequired to maintain efficiency and production requirements.

Develop optimized process and setup sheets for each mold. Performsadvanced troubleshooting, work directly with mold preventivemaintenance on all tooling in a professional manner to maintainproduction requirements. Ensure proper equipment, mold, tool, andsupply storage. Serve as the technical contact and expert for theinjection molding department. Create record and control alldocuments related to Process control for historical tracking.
