The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate blow molding machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality plastic products according to company standards and specifications. Duties Operate and monitor blow molding machines to produce plastic components. Set timing units, temperature controls, and start automatic feed mechanisms. Align and adjust mandrels with mold chambers using hand tools. Mold plastic products under heat and pressure, ensuring precision and safety. Remove molded workpieces, trim excess material using knives or bandsaws. Regrind excess or defective materials using grinding equipment. Weigh and inspect completed parts to verify accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols. Experience Hands-on experience operating blow molding or similar molding machines preferred. Strong mechanical skills and ability to use tools such as wrenches, knives, and bandsaws. Familiarity with materials handling and manufacturing safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing and bending. Experience with quality inspection methods and basic measuring tools (e.g., scales, calipers) is a plus. Background in plastics manufacturing or grinding operations is beneficial but not required.
