The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. SUMMARY The Injection Molding Machine Operator will create soft baits according to customer specification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Efficiently operates injection molding machines within defined parameters to successfully produce soft plastic baits according to specification Perform material handling procedures as required, including mixing of color formulas Perform and assist with mold and neck finish changes as required Complete all required quality checks, critical systems checks, production records and logs accurately Assist in machine start-ups and shut-downs; performs basic adjustments and maintenance Manage machine process efficiency initiatives, scrap minimization and materials conservation Checks products to ensure quality and uniform completion Ensures that workstation is kept in a clean and safe condition Follows safety guidelines and regulations Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Detail-oriented and consistent Reliable and able to work the required schedule Team-oriented and works well with others Basic ability in mathematics, reading, and writing

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of injection mold machine operation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Must have manual dexterity in order to operate machines as directed Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
