Job Description:
Set up machines/equipment for operation, including material, color, molds, auxiliary equipment, etc. Keep supervisor/management informed of all problems Start-up machines and monitor quality to maintain appropriate sizes and standards Make appropriate adjustments to machines to maintain efficient production levels and document appropriately Oversee proper packaging procedures Review production schedules and ensure machines are running production to meet customer demands Respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance to correct machine malfunctions and/or Packer/Handler problems Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance Departments concerning machine operations and malfunctions Inspect scrap to prevent any usable product from being ground and record scrap numbers Ensure housekeeping standards and all safety procedure are maintained Ensure a smooth transition between shifts
