Summary We are seeking a skilled CDL Drivers to join our expanding team at Carolina Ready Mix & Builders Supply, LLC. This position is crucial for ensuring timely delivery of our products to various construction sites while maintaining safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Must live within 20 minutes of one of our 4 locations (Swannana, Fletcher, Candler or Marshall) Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver ready mix concrete and building supplies to job sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Collaborate with site managers to coordinate delivery schedules and requirements. Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required. Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with dump trucks or similar vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
