Job Description:

We are looking for a

Injection Molding Technician Schedule:

Monday-Friday, will work weekends as needed 2nd shift 230pm-1130pm 3rd shift- 10:30 pm-7:30 am

Responsibilities:

• Start-up and maintain molding machines for production by entering data per approved setup sheets.
• Submit the first and last piece of articles to the Quality Department for approval.
• Monitor accuracy of process setups throughout shift (Daily Verification of Setup Monitoring Sheet).
• Stop production and/or delivery if necessary to correct quality problems.
• Ensure that all machines are running at the approved cycle.
• Troubleshoot and answer machine alarms to improve production and reduce downtime.
• Set molds.
• Assist with paperwork needed to track changeover times.
• Check the auxiliary equipment to ensure it is operating correctly and everything is functioning.
• Have flexibility to complete projects assigned by the Plant Manager or Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain the Quality Management System as it pertains to the area of responsibility.
• Use appropriate safety equipment.
• These responsibilities are flexible and may change as needed.

Qualifications:

• Forklift training. Participate in required training programs
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Support, strengthen, and advance the mission and operating philosophy of the team.
• Abide by all regulations within the Employee Handbook.
• Technical school or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of plastic processes, machinery, and common quality/production issues.
