Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Slitter Operator to join their team. As a Slitter Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

    What’s the Job?

Operate slitter to production, waste, and quality standards.
Take note of malfunctions in the equipment and product, correcting them as needed.
Properly document, set up and handle raw materials in preparation for the process.
Prepare, place, and remove paper rolls as necessary for the process.
Verify that production quantity meets customer needs.
What’s Needed?
High School Diploma or GED, college education a plus
One year of manufacturing experience minimum (preferably in the print industry).
Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to set-up machine and operation
Ability to handle and interpret measurements.
Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy record.
