Tenn Tex Plastics, a leader in the molding injection industry and part of the Marmon Holdings family, is seeking an experienced Mold Technician to support our production team. The Mold Technician will play a critical role in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting molds to ensure high-quality production and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mold changes, setups, and adjustments on injection molding machines according to production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mold-related issues, including equipment malfunctions, to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain molds, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Assist in the installation and alignment of molds, utilizing precision tools and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document mold performance and repairs.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize cycle times and product quality.
• Monitor equipment and process parameters to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report issues or recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mold maintenance or related fields preferred.
• 3 years experience as a Mold Technician in a molding injection environment.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, and materials.
• Proficient in the use of precision tools, measuring devices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations.
