Plastic Injection Mold Operator Tenn-Texx Plastics, Inc. 8011 National Service Road, Colfax, NC 27235 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics injection molding and a keen understanding of mechanical processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of injection molding machines and maintaining the quality of produced parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to verify dimensions and quality of finished products. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Adhere to lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in plastics injection molding is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively. Familiarity with machining processes, including the use of lathe and CNC machines. Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers is highly desirable. Knowledge of press brake machines and plastics extrusion processes is a plus. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is beneficial. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
