SLITTER OPERATORS
to join a Magnera, at its successful location in Mooresville . This is a great opportunity to work with highly talented and experienced team that welcomes new employees. This position is
NIGHTS – 4
nights on/4 nights off – 12.5 hours per day (6:30p to 7a) + overtime.

Earn Perfect Attendance Days Responsibilities:
Fully understanding of all operating functions Ability to set up and operate the slitter to cut fabric to proper width and diameter Safety – follows company procedures and uses material and equipment per manufacturers’ directions Able to have clear and open communication with line operators, lab, line leads and production supervisors. Check work orders to confirm product by performing line clearance forms at start of shift and order changes. Verify proper machine settings with appropriate order/recipe Verify proper knife alignment and offset set-up according to knife recipe and to work order Visual/Audio checks during start-up and operations of each shaft to ensure proper efficiency is maintained Ability to troubleshoot all knife(slitter) equipment Conduct quality checks and ability to troubleshoot quality related issues Quality – Ensures quality by continually watching for and reporting any abnormalities. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, keep slitter, unwinder and buffer free of foreign objects Clear communications with lab and basic understanding of lab spec and recipe requirements Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, (or a GED) or equivalent experience is required. Candidate must possess good problem-solving skills, basic math skills, along with good interpersonal skills. Employees must be able to speak, understand, write English. Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a somewhat frequent basis.
