Metal Casting Operator Park Personnel Services Inc Glens Falls, NY 12801 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various machinery and tools, ensuring precision and quality in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of technical specifications and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Must keep work area clean and follow safety guidelines and PPE regulations perform basic maintenance on the machines. Set up machinery and casting molds. Start and end the casting process Control melt level and melt coverage Replenish casting consumables and raw material. Ensure correct layering and fill level in baskets. Operator is responsible for task related Quality Control. Recognize potential quality problems and respond accordingly. Attention to detail is important. Respond to emergency situations and make decisions quickly and efficiently Effectively and immediately communicate problems, safety issues and quality deficiencies. Completes scheduled checks for spotting any malfunctions and unsafe conditions and reports and corrects them. Tightly monitor process parameters, especially cooling water, gas flow and temperatures and adjust as needed. . Take required measurements / material samples and check quality as instructed. Keep proper records where required.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED Strong mechanical ability Previous large manufacturing machine operation Reliable, motivated and organized with ability to self-monitor Standing, respirator and high heat environment are physical requirements here •
