Essential duties and responsibilities include:

Form and tape boxes. Perform attribute check of each catch box using the Inspection Instruction Sheet. Sort out non-conforming parts as needed. All start-up parts in scrap catch box are to be removed and disposed of immediately. Replace scrap catch box with production catch box after start up. Notify Process Tech and QA inspector of any problems or concerns. Transfer parts from production catch box to the required packaging, establishing required quantity per box. Print and apply labels as needed for section using hand held scanner. Visually check parts and labels at start up and throughout the entire run. Dispose of old labels and packaging as needed. Grind scrap and runners as needed. Perform rework (sort) as assigned. Maintain area in state of order and cleanliness. Transport only finished goods stamped “Final Inspection Pass” to staging area, when a full skid has been made or at job end. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Molding Foreman. This is a Union position

Sectional Operators:

Up to $20.33 Primarily responsible for product visual quality checks, packaging, and labeling of molded parts within a specific group of injection molding machines.

Operators:

Up to $15.46 Primarily responsible for product visual quality checks, packaging, and labeling of molded parts for a specific injection molding machine. 2nd & 3rd shift include a $0.50/hr. shift differential EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma/G.E.D equivalent or combination of relevant experience as an operator and the ability to understand all work requirements.
