Concrete Mixer Driver Four Winds Concrete INC Blakeslee, PA 18610 Four Winds Concrete Inc. is currently seeking experienced and motivated Class A or B CDL drivers to become a part of our team. Our CDL drivers satisfy a critical role here at 4 Winds Concrete. This position places an emphasis on reliability and attentiveness, as maintaining both a truck log and the trucks themselves are daily responsibilities that come along with the position. Competitive Salary (based on experience) Excellent Health Benefits Company Matched 401(k) Savings Holiday pay and PTO Daily Overtime after 8 hours Quarterly Bonuses Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all work according to FMCSA Drives truck under loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water and starts mixer Drives truck to location for unloading Moves levers on truck to release concrete down truck chute into wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured with concrete Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck Sprays surfaces of truck with protective compound to prevent adhering of concrete Assembles cement chute Performs daily pre and post trip of vehicle Other duties as assigned Required Skills, Education, and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution Class A or B CDL Good driving record Effective verbal and written communication skills Problem solving Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job) Physical Demands Regularly required to: use hands to finger, handle or feel; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Frequently required to: stand, walk, or sit; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Work Environment Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions Frequently exposed to: moving, mechanical parts; fumes and airborne particles; vibration Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, PPE provided as need Noise level may be loud at times Pre-employment drug testing (EOE)
