The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machinery, and the ability to perform quality inspections to ensure that products meet specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production schedules and specifications. Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters as necessary to maintain product quality. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and lubricating equipment. Utilize logic controllers for machine operation and troubleshooting. Conduct quality inspections using tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product integrity. Assemble and fabricate components as needed during the production process. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in production processes. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production output. Qualifications Experience in plastics injection molding is preferred. Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in manufacturing settings. Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for quality inspection. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus. Ability to operate a lathe for additional fabrication tasks is desirable but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
