Direct Hire Qualifications:

High school diploma. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in injection molding. Candidate must have good organizational skills. Candidate must be proactive and show initiative in taking on and completing injection molding projects. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated examples of monitoring a process and adjusting as necessary to maintain a specific product quality. Willingness to work required hours overtime, weekend work and early morning startups is likely. Demonstrated ability to determine root cause and implement actions to correct them. Self-motivated in diagnosing and solving problems to improve efficiency. Experience with basic safety processes and how to work safely around automated equipment. Experience and understanding of automotive quality requirements for interior products would be very helpful. Strong analytical skills. Ability to troubleshoot product quality/process issues, interpret data and problem solve. Basic computer skills with general understanding of software programs (Windows, Micro Soft Word, Micro Soft Excel, etc.). Six Sigma Green Belt Training and or Kepner Trego Training a plus

Job Description:

Responsible for all aspects of the injection molding process including, but not limited to, set-up and tear down, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and work flow. Working with production personnel and Quality to ensure molded components meet requirements, adjusting as required. Providing molded components in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met. Working with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result
